At neXa, we’re looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to develop and maintain low-level software for embedded systems. You will work with C/C++, Embedded Linux, and hardware interfaces, combining software development with hands-on debugging and testing on hardware platforms. The project focuses on developing and maintaining embedded software running on hardware platforms. You will contribute to system configuration, software debugging, and testing of electronic components and communication interfaces.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain low-level embedded software using C and C++

• Configure and bring up Embedded Linux systems on hardware platforms

• Debug software and investigate technical issues

• Bring up and test electronic circuits and communication interfaces

• Troubleshoot hardware-software integration issues

Must-have Requirements:

• At least 5 years of professional or project experience in embedded software development

• Strong knowledge of C and C++

• Practical experience working with Linux

• Ability to debug code and investigate complex technical issues

• Knowledge of communication interfaces such as UART, SPI, or I²C

• English proficiency sufficient for working with technical documentation

Nice to have Requirements:

• Knowledge of Linux Kernel, U-Boot, or Yocto

• Experience developing drivers or configuring embedded systems

• Practical experience with microcontrollers such as STM32

• Basic knowledge of electronics, radio communication, or digital signal processing
