Join a data engineering team in the banking sector, supporting data onboarding and integration processes within a Hadoop ecosystem. As an IngestOps Engineer, you will configure and maintain data ingestion pipelines, validate integrations, and support reliable production operations in a complex enterprise environment. The project focuses on onboarding and maintaining data integrations within an enterprise Hadoop platform in the banking sector. You will work with the ARC Ingestion Framework to configure data sources, validate ingestion pipelines, and ensure the stability and accuracy of production data flows.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and onboard data sources into the Hadoop platform using the ARC Ingestion Framework

• Design, validate, and maintain ingestion configurations for new and existing data pipelines

• Execute tests to ensure reliable and accurate data integration

• Provide operational support and continuously improve production data ingestion processes

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to ingestion workflows and system configurations

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile delivery environment

Must-have Requirements:

• Strong experience working in Unix/Linux environments

• Solid SQL and database querying skills

• Hands-on experience with Git

• Familiarity with Jenkins and CI/CD practices

• Understanding of Hadoop ecosystems and data processing platforms

• Basic knowledge of Python

• Experience with configuration management and integration across multiple applications

• Practical experience in software and system testing

• Experience working in Agile environments

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

• English proficiency at C1 level, both written and spoken

Nice to have Requirements:

• Experience with Robot Framework

• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and Helix

• Previous experience in banking or financial services
